About Albany Housing Trust

We are a not-for-profit supported accommodation provider working with people whose support needs have become a barrier to safe, settled housing.
A home of your own within a supportive community
Most Albany properties are shared houses for two to five residents. Each person has exclusive use of their own bedroom, while sharing the kitchen, bathroom, garden and living or dining spaces. We also provide self-contained accommodation at different stages of a resident’s journey.
People come to us with many different experiences. Some need help accessing welfare benefits, education or work; others need support with mental or physical health, addiction recovery, isolation or the practical routines of everyday life.
For many residents, this is a vital part of their housing journey. That is why we work collaboratively with residents, local authorities, health teams, charities and other professional partners.
